Overview
ControlMap allows users to utilize SSOs (or Single Sign-On) to streamline the login process. SSO Configuration can be configured within each customer tenant as outlined below. Additionally, Google + Microsoft SSO is also supported using the ScalePad Hub for the ControlMap MSP Portal.
This article outlines the process for enabling SSO such as Azure AD or OneLogin via SAML 2.0.this on your organization's platform so you and your team can access a ControlMap tenant.
Tenant Configuration
To enable SSO logins, you will first need to login to the Customer Tenant and navigate to Settings -> Users. From here, you can configure your organization's SSO settings. Google and Microsoft SSOs can be enabled by selecting the associated checkboxes. You can also set up an SSO for a different enterprise identity provider by selecting the checkbox for Enable SAML 2.0 SSO and filling out the required fields per the instructions. Click the Update settings button to save your changes and SSO logins will now be available.
Note: Enabling SSO will not update your Sign In Preference Automatically. This must be changed for login with SSO to succeed.
SignIn Preference
Users can only have one SignIn Preference configured at a time. If their sign in preference is marked as Username/Password, they will only be able to log in with that method regardless of other Sign in settings configured. Following the below steps you can update the sign in preferences so users can sign in with their preferred method.
User Configuration
Within the Settings -> Users page the System Users will show their current Sign In Preference. To change the Sign In preference for users, either click the Actions button and edit the user to change their Sign In preference, or select all users and click Update Sign in Preferences.
My Profile Configuration
If you are not a Compliance Manager and would like to update your Sign In preference, you can do so by editing your profile. To do so, click on your initials in the top right and select My Profile.
Within My Profile you can edit the SignIn Preferences and click Update Preferences.
Logging in
With your SSO settings enabled and configured, you can now sign in by selecting your preferred SSO from the Other sign in options section of the login screen.
