Connecting to Datadog

ControlMap uses API Key and Application Key to connect to Datadog. We recommend that you create exclusive keys for ControlMap using a Datadog admin's account.

 

1. Creating an API Key.

1.1 Navigate to the API Keys page of your Datadog environment and click on New Key

1.2 Create a key with the name ControlMap Compliance.

1.3 Copy the key and save it for your records. You will need this key to connect ControlMap to you Datadog environment.

2. Creating an Application Key

 

2.1 Navigate to the Application Keys page of your Datadog environment and click on New Key

2.2 Create a new application key with the name ControlMap Compliance Application Key.

2.3 Copy the key and save it for your records. You will need this key to connect ControlMap to you Datadog environment.
