About
ControlMap has a new experience and a legacy experience. If you are offered the switch, you can move between the two yourself. Your choice is saved on your account, not on your browser or device, so the next time you sign in you land in the experience you last chose.
Switch to the legacy experience
If you see the Back to ControlMap Legacy button in the top bar of the new experience, you can use it to go back to the legacy experience.
- Select Back to ControlMap Legacy in the top bar. A dialog opens asking why you are switching back.
- Optionally, tick the reasons that apply to you:
- Missing a feature I rely on
- Harder to find things
- Slower than before
- More errors or bugs
- Doesn't fit how I work
- Other
- Optionally, type more detail in the Other feedback (optional) box. It holds up to 2000 characters.
- Select Submit and Go Back. Leaving the reasons and the feedback box empty is fine. Nothing is sent and the switch still happens.
To stay in the new experience instead, select Cancel or press Esc.
Where you land
After you switch, you land on the legacy page for your role:
- Super Admin and Compliance Manager: the legacy Home page, which opens on the Summary tab, or the legacy Program page.
- Auditor: Audits.
- Contributor: the legacy contributor home page.
- Compliance Portal User: My Compliance.
Switch to the new experience
If you see the Try New Experience button (a rocket icon) in the top bar of the legacy experience, you can use it to move to the new experience.
- In the legacy top bar, select Try New Experience. Hovering over it shows "Explore the new experience. You can switch back anytime."
- You land in the new experience. You stay there each time you sign in until you switch back.
If you don't see the switch button in the experience you are using, your account isn't currently offered that switch.
