Connect to Confluence to embed content in ControlMap

What does this connector do?

The confluence content widget allows users to create a connection between confluence and ControlMap and then use that connection to embed content directly from Confluence pages into ControlMap.

This connection allows teams to maintain their policy, procedure, and governance documents in Confluence while maintaining the controls mapping and other relationships for audit purposes in ControlMap.

Connecting to Confluence

ControlMap uses an API token and a Username (preferably a service account) for a Confluence user to connect to confluence. ControlMap uses the permissions granted to this user to connect to ControlMap.

Step 1 - Creating an API Token in Confluence

Browse to the following link https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens and click on Create API token button.
