Overview

Within ControlMap settings, you can apply different configuration options for your Policies, Procedures and Governance documents. This includes updates to document content, headers, footers and variables.

Pre & Post Document Content

Pre & Post Document Content will allow you to add a page at the beginning or end of your Policies, Procedures, or Governance documents. This information is fully customizable, however, may be used as confidentiality notice, or a notice pertaining to ControlMap generating the documentation. 

Header & Footer

Enabling the Header & Footer options will display text of your choice on the Policies, Procedures, or Governance documents when previewing or downloading them.

Variables

Variables will allow you to set predefined text throughout your Policies, Procedures and Governance documents. By default there is one variable for the Company Name. Creating additional variables can be useful for text that will appear several times throughout your account.

Add a Variable by clicking the + and entering a Name and Value.
