ControlMap lets you choose whether you receive weekly reminder emails about policies and evidence. These settings are managed for each user individually, so changing your preferences does not affect other users in the tenant.
Who can use this feature?
All ControlMap users.
Update your reminder settings
Sign in to ControlMap.
Click your profile initials, then select My Profile.
Scroll to the My Reminders Settings section.
In the Weekly Reminders row, review the checkboxes under the Policy and Evidence columns.
Enable or disable the checkboxes to match your preferences.
Click Update Settings to save your changes.
When a checkbox is enabled, you receive the corresponding weekly reminder email. When it is disabled, you do not receive that email.
Understand how weekly reminders work
Weekly reminder emails are based on your individual reminder settings. They are not limited to policies or evidence items where you are the owner or contributor.
If a reminder is enabled, the email may include a summary of the relevant items across your environment.
If you are not receiving reminder emails
If the relevant reminder option is enabled but you are not receiving the corresponding emails, submit a support ticket so our support team can investigate.
Administrative limitations
Reminder settings are managed by each user. Administrators cannot currently update these settings on behalf of another user.
Each user must sign in and update their own preferences.
