If you're trying to link items (for example, adding an objective linked to a risk) but the search isn't returning any results, the mapping picker requires at least three characters before it starts searching.

Resolution

Confirm you've entered at least three characters in the search field. The mapping picker doesn't return results for fewer than three characters.

You can search by:

• Framework code: For example, typing GV. returns NIST CSF Governance objectives.

• Objective name: For example, typing mission returns objectives containing that word.

You don't need to memorize full framework codes — a partial code or part of the objective name works as long as you've entered at least three characters.
