"UnAuthorized. Your account is blocked" error message

Who can use this feature?

  • MSP Portal users with access to a ControlMap tenant

If you see the error "UnAuthorized. Your account is blocked" when you click Launch Portal in the MSP Portal, your tenant-level account has been locked. This can happen due to multiple failed login attempts at the tenant URL.

Follow the steps below to unlock your account:

  1. Navigate directly to your tenant URL (formatted as https://companyname.app.ctrlmap.com).

  2. On the login page, click Forgot Password.

  3. Enter the email address associated with your tenant-level account to request a password reset.

  4. In the password reset email, click the provided link.

  5. Enter your email address and set a new password. This unlocks your account.

  6. Return to the MSP Portal and click Launch Portal to access your tenant.

Note: Resetting your tenant-level password doesn't affect your ability to use Launch Portal. Your MSP Portal account and tenant-level account operate independently — even if your credentials differ, you maintain access through Launch Portal as long as you've been invited to the tenant.
