If an assessment question appears to be missing from your assessment list, this is likely because the question was marked as Not Applicable and is linked to only one objective. When this happens, ControlMap automatically hides the question from the Assessment tab because it's no longer considered relevant to any active objective in the framework.
Follow the steps below to locate and restore the missing question.

Restore a missing assessment question
In your ControlMap account, open the Objectives tab within the affected framework.
Locate the objective tied to the missing question.
Review the question's answer status. If it's marked as Not Applicable, update the answer to Yes, No, or Partially.
Return to the Assessment tab. The question reappears in the list because it's now relevant to the framework again.
If you've confirmed the question isn't marked as Not Applicable and it's still missing from your assessment list, reach out to our support team by submitting a ticket.
