If you're trying to delete a risk assessment questionnaire from Settings > Risk Assessment Questionnaire but you see the message "This questionnaire cannot be deleted", the questionnaire is still linked to one or more vendor risk assessments.
ControlMap prevents deletion while the questionnaire is associated with a risk assessment, even if the questionnaire appears empty or has no questions.
Who can use this feature?
Super Admins and Compliance Managers
Follow the steps below to unlink and delete the questionnaire:
In ControlMap, navigate to Vendors > Vendor Assessments tab. This view lists all risk assessments across your vendors.
Identify any risk assessments that use the questionnaire you want to delete.
For each linked risk assessment, click the Meatballs menu (also called the horizontal overflow menu) and delete it. If the vendor is no longer needed, you can also delete the vendor from the List tab.
After you remove all associated risk assessments, navigate to Settings > Risk Assessment Questionnaire.
Click the Meatballs menu next to the questionnaire and select Delete.
The questionnaire deletes successfully once all associated risk assessments are removed.
