Policies or procedures not showing objective mappings

If you notice that a policy or procedure appears linked to an objective when viewing that objective, but the Objectives column on the Policies or Procedures page is empty for that document, the document isn't mapped directly to the objective.

The Objectives column on the Policies and Procedures pages only displays objectives that are mapped directly to a policy or procedure. If a document is associated with an objective through another path — for example, through an assessment question — that association appears when viewing the objective but isn't reflected on the Policies or Procedures page.

Who can use this feature?

  • Super Admins and Compliance Managers

To resolve this, map the policy or procedure directly to the framework objective:

  1. Navigate to Frameworks and select the framework that contains the objective.

  2. Select the objective.

  3. Click the Policies & Procedures tab.

  4. Click the Paperclip icon to add a direct mapping.

  5. Select the policy or procedure and confirm.

  6. Navigate to the Policies or Procedures page and verify that the objective now appears in the Objectives column for that document.

Repeat these steps for any other policies or procedures that need to be mapped directly to objectives.

If the objective still doesn't appear after completing these steps, reach out to our support team by submitting a ticket.
