About
The Auvik integration syncs your network devices from Auvik into ControlMap as assets, so your asset inventory stays current without manual entry. ControlMap checks in with Auvik on a schedule and adds any devices it hasn't synced before.
The integration runs one compliance check, "Create an inventory of assets by syncing data from Auvik". It shows as passing each time the integration runs.
Before you start
Have these ready from your Auvik account:
- Setting up integrations from the client portal is part of the Pro plan. For details, see the Free, Essentials and Pro plans article.
- The email address you use to sign in to Auvik.
- An API key from your Auvik account.
- The region your Auvik account is on.
Connect Auvik
- Go to Monitor › Integrations and select Add Integration.
- Search for Auvik and select its card.
- On the Connection step, enter the details for your Auvik account:
- Email: the email address for your Auvik account.
- API Key: the API key from your Auvik account.
- Account region: choose the region your Auvik account is on.
- Select Next: Checks. ControlMap connects to Auvik and saves the connection, and a Tenant Name field appears on the same step.
- Choose your Auvik tenant from Tenant Name. ControlMap syncs the devices from the tenant you choose. If Auvik returns no tenants, the list shows "No results found".
- Select Next: Checks again to move on.
- Complete the remaining steps as described in the Connect an integration article.
What you'll see after connecting
When you finish, the new connection's page opens. After the first scan, ControlMap shows:
- Your Auvik devices, added as assets.
- The inventory check, "Create an inventory of assets by syncing data from Auvik", in Monitor › Compliance Checks. It shows No Data until the first scan finishes.
The connection's card in Monitor › Integrations shows its status, when it last synced and how many records it holds.
Disconnect or change settings
To change the connection's settings or its schedule, open its card in Monitor › Integrations, as described in the Connect an integration article. To remove the integration, select the bin icon on its card and choose Yes. Deleting the integration also deletes its assets and their compliance status.
