You can enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) for users who sign in to a ControlMap tenant with a username and password. Users with a different sign-in preference, such as Google, Microsoft, or SSO, aren't prompted to configure MFA through this setting because they authenticate through that sign-in method.
Who can use this feature?
Super Admins.
For information about ControlMap tenant roles, see ControlMap tenant user roles.
What you’ll need
Access to the ControlMap tenant.
A Super Admin role in the tenant.
Enforce MFA for all users
Sign in to the ControlMap tenant.
Navigate to Settings > Users.
Select Enforce MFA for all users.
In the confirmation message, select Yes.
Users with a Username/Password sign-in preference must set up MFA the next time they sign in to the tenant. Users with a different sign-in preference, such as Google, Microsoft, or SSO, aren't prompted to configure MFA through this setting because they don't sign in with a username and password.
This setting applies to MFA within the ControlMap tenant. It does not manage MFA for your ScalePad Hub account or ControlMap MSP Portal access.
To manage ScalePad Hub permissions, see Managing ScalePad Hub User Access.
To manage ControlMap MSP Portal access, see Granting and revoking access to ControlMap for MSP admins.
